Course objectives
The main objectives of the course are the following:
understanding the significance of flower arranging for the development of environmental literacy in primary education;
acquirement of basic skills in flower arranging in order to use it in primary schools and also basic knowledge about flower arranging and bunch making from ikebana up today;
recognition of the influence of flower arranging on pupils personal developments;
making several model thematic flower arrangements;
defining main goals for the use of flower arranging in primary education; understanding and analyzing the changing fashion of flower arranging in modern world The course of the project, Biology for Life and Health. Making arrangements - alternative forms of teaching and teacher training at the coincidence with trends education for 21 st century in EU. Life in the 21st century reguires new educational foundations which meet the new brain research results, humans ontogenetic parameters and valeological and environmental rules.
Syllabus
  • 1, arrangement and binding as an alternative form of education for sustainable living and development of society - the role of teachers in basic education   - forms methods, means 2;
  • 2nd Habitat Garden - a model environment for basic education - the possibilities for activating the use and alternative teaching and learning;
  • 3rd Importance of arranging and practical activities for pupils' understanding of the basic conditions of life, the link arrangement, links and sound of nature with human health;
  • 4th Practicing basic skills, gaining professional skills, in direct work with pupils   at the Centre and the Clinical School;
  • 5th Theoretical and practical foundation arrangement and links:
  • - "Life-giving water" - splicing biomes house plants from the world;
  • - "Easter" - to use in teaching and school health;
  • - Bonsai;
  • - "Inspiration at   experts";
  • - Arranging for Health 2 - use flowers, fruits and vegetables from the school garden;
  • - 'Dressing for pleasure "- the use of cut plants from the school garden;
