Course objectives
Main objectives can be summarised as follows:
to learn the basic foundations of calculations from analytical chemistry necessary to the written part of the exam from the analytical chemistry and their practical applications.
Syllabus
  • 1. Gravimetric stoichiometry.
  • 2. Titrations of strong protolytes. Titrations of weak protolytes. Titrations errors.
  • 3. Errors of measurement and determination, intervals of the reliability (random errors, systematic errors, rough errors).
  • 4. Evaluation of calibration dependences (standard addition method, linear regression).
  • 5. Evaluation of the equivalence point of titrations curves (first and second derivation methods, Gran’s method).
