Course objectives
Students get the information about mobility training in blind persons, possibilities of support in mobility with other person or alone. At the end of the course students should: understand the background of mobility; know the use of personal strategies in mobility and the use of assistive technologies. Lectures are organised mostly outdoors.

  • Mobility in blind persons.
  • Trailling. Use of white cane.
  • Guiding and orientation lines.
  • Making tracks and their training.
  • Mobility with a guide.
  • The use od personal strategies in mobility in/ and ooutdoors.
  • The use of assistive technologies.
