Course objectives

Styl of primeral cultures, ancient oriental and Greek style. Medieval spiritual style, Gregorian chorale, secular style .. Early medieval polyphony, ars antiqua, ars nova, style of Dutch schools. Baroque.

Syllabus

• Classicism Romantism - early German romantism; high romantism, late romantism, Czech music romantism, romantism in Russian music. Music of 20th century Art music and non-art music
