Course objectives
The course objective is to provide students with more opportunities to use creative and reproductive activities while working with a literary text. Having met the course requirements, students are able to apply such creative activities at nursery schools. They are also able to design a syllabus and lesson plans for a longer term, including other cultural activities for this age group.

  • 1. Types of text reproduction, creative activities and games in the work with literature at nursery school. 2. Literary projects. 3. Pre-school child as a spectator (film, television), child and the theatre. 4. Periodicals for children and their application at nursery school. 5. Regional aspects in literary education.

Teaching methods
Theoretical preparation, practical tasks and activities - active students´ work with literary texts, solving model situations, discussions.
Assessment methods
Type of completion: credit. Requirements: elaboration of methodical work - shorter, complex literary-cultural educational project which issues from the work with literary texts and leads to wider objectives of the education at nursery school.
