Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with problems of special education. Students will be introduced to the study of special education, take care with the development of the people, concept of special education and its role in the system science, with concepts of integration / inclusion, the basic categories and methods of special education, comprehensive care for individuals with special educational needs, compared to foreign trends. Outcomes of learning: after successful completion of the course the student knows the basic theoretical knowledge in the field of special education. Is able to define the different fields of special education, can explain the context and explain the relationship between the disciplines of special education.
