Course objectives
The aim of the course is to deepen the knowledge of the Czech language, its development and spoken dialectal forms or otherwise specific, current developments and the current state of Czech literature and culture, knowledge of Czech history, geography, dissemination of information about the Czech countryside, the Czech economy and politics. Student after completion of the course focuses on basic knowledge of Czech dialectology, has an overview of the history, geography, economy and political system of the Czech Republic, met with the development of the current state of Czech literature and culture.
Syllabus
  • 1. Headline knowledge of the Czech Republic in Brno and Masaryk University 2. Basics Czech dialectology and knowledge of national language 3. Development of the third and present Czech literature 4. Czech history 5. Development of art in the Czech Republic and the Czech culture 6. Visit to the historical, cultural and other attractions in Brno and in Czech Republic
