Course objectives
Learning outcomes of the course unit the aim of the course is to teach the student to understand the lexical aspect of Czech and to explain the meaning relations in the vocabulary; use information on   lexicon to   text analysis; to make reasoned decisions in the field of word creation; on the basis of acquired knowledge, also to infer unfamiliar connections; interpret word-formation phenomena.

Syllabus
  • This subject includes the lexicology of Czech language. Criteria of vocabulary division. Lexical analysis. Basic word-forming procedures, categories and types. Word-forming analysis. Analysis of the Word structure.
