Course objectives
Students will learn how to choose the measurement system and graphically present the acquired data. They also combine research designs and interpret behavioral data.
Syllabus
  • Select measurement systems, designing measurement systems, procedural integrity 2
  • Graphical presentation
  • Graphical interpretation, level, trend and variability
  • Temporal relationships between variables
  • Baseline logic, withdrawal and reversal designs
  • Alternating treatments designs, changing criterion designs, multiple-baseline designs
  • Combinations of research designs, component and parametric analysis
  • Designing and editing single-case design graphs using MS Excel I
  • Designing and editing single-case design graphs using MS Excel II
  • Organizing, analyzing and interpreting behavioural data, interpreting experimental designs from published studies
