Course objectives
Student will get acquainted with specific needs of young language learners. By the end of the course students will be able to design suitable types of activities for young learners, set them up and execute them. Students will be able to receive and give feedback and to reflect on their own teaching.
Learning outcomes
Students are able to conduct lessons in English and use classroom English in different stages of the lesson; simplify classroom instructions and demonstrate them with respect to their pupils' age and language development; reflect on their teaching, examine their experience and use it for evaluation and action; give and get feedback, react positively to feedback and act accordingly; plan suitable activities for their pupils and instruct them in the target language.
