- Course objectives
- The goal of the course is to ecquire essencial knowledge of important legal regulations for the pharmacists practice.
The topic of the course are basic legal regulations in the field of health law especially in the field of pharmacy practice, but also legal regulations from another branch of law, e.g. civil law, commercial law, labour law - its knowledge are necessary for practice of pharmacists in the pharmacy, in the drug - research, - production, - distribution.
The ethical issues of profession of pharmacists as health workers are an integral part of this course as well. - Learning outcomes
- Completing the course, the student will be able to:
describe the basic legal aspects associated with the performance of the profession of health professional; analyze the ethical principles associated with the provision of pharmaceutical and clinical pharmaceutical care;
actively use the database of Czech and EU legal regulations; - Syllabus

Act on Pharmaceuticals, legal regulation of prescribin, legal regulation of veterinary medicinal products 4. Legal regulation of medicinal devices 5. Act on Addictive substances, legal regulation of precursors 6. Legal regulation of health services with the focus on pharmacy care, public health L. Smejkalová 7. 8. Resposibility in the healthcare: 9. Specific health services 10. Ethocs and biomedicine and research 11. Intellectual property 12. Protection of personal data, medicinal documentation 13.
