Course objectives
History of region in which today are found the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, historical, political and cultural development under the Dukes of Burgundy, contacts with the Czech Lands, the 17 provinces under Charles V and Phillip II, the Dutch revolution, its causes, economic and political context, religious aspects, the course of the revolution and the aftermath of the wars through the beginning of the 17th century.
