Course objectives
The aim of this seminar is to - through the medium of competitive debates - develop students skills of critical thinking, argumentation and rhetoric and deep their knowledge. In its ultimate consequence debating promotes values of tolerance and critical respect to opinion of others.
Syllabus
  • What as argument and argumentation. Rules af debating. Choosing of thesis. Realising of the competitive debates. Reflection.
Assessment methods (in Czech)
Výuka je založena na praktické účasti v soutěžních debatách na zvolené teze, podmínkou k udělení kolokvia je 80% účast a podání reflexe.
