Students should know the history of the European philosophy, the French cultural and social history, the Frech literature of that times.

Syllabus

• 1. The intorduction to the French philosophy of XIX. and XX. cent. as a familiarization with the intelectual development of France in that times, including the institutional, academical and scientifical changes and the changes of the philosophical workplaces in this social and political development of the country.
• 2. The comprehensive characteristics of the French philosophy of XIX. cent.: rational philosophy vs. so-called spiritualistic philosophy as two main lines of the French thought in XIX. cent.

Požadavky na získání zkoušky: dva krátké písemné referáty na libovolně zvolené téma z uvedených okruhů, bližší znalost jednoho autora, celkový přehled. Požadavky na získání kolokvia nebo zápočtu: jeden písemný referát na libovolné téma z uvedených okruhů, celkový přehled. Forma zkoušky: ústní.
