Course objectives
The goal of this seminar is the explanation of contemporary trends in Czech literature by the way of interpretation of some representative works particulary in prose. The zexts will be chosen in the agreement with students The choice should cover the most importatnt texts of this period, that were mentioned in the literary polemics. The next main criterion of the choice is effort to cover diferent ways of narration from artistic narration, through mystification and playfulness, up to the comercial literaure (Ajvaz, Hodrová, Topol, Kratochvil, Suda, Urban, Kahuda, Balabán, Rákos, Ulrych, Sabach, Dousková, Viewegh).
