Course objectives

Lexicology as an linguistic branch, the lexical system, relation of the form and meaning of the word (synonymy, polysemy, antonymy); principles and tendencies of word-formation in German; practical creative seminar, text analysis.

Syllabus (v češtině)

• Lexikologie jako součást lingvistiky. Postavení slovotvorby v rámci nauky o slovní zásobě a gramatiky. Tvoření slov v německém jazyce. Slovotvorné postupy u jenotlivých slovních druhů. Základní slovotvorné pojmy Výklad významu konfixů, infixů a interfixů a jejich uplatnění v němčině. Slovotvorba substantiv, adjektiv, sloves Slovotvoné tendence v současné němčině. Analýza slovotvorných postupů, kategorií a typů v různých druzích textů se zřetelem k shodným a odlišným jevům slovotvorné struktury němčiny a češtiny. V semináři navazujícím na přednášku soustavné ověřování a procvičování schopností studentů aplikovat poznatky v jazykovývh projevech a podporování schopnosti vlastního používání a vyhodnocování doporučené sekundární literatury.
