Course objectives
The course aims to introduce new phenomena in the Italian language as well as further students’ writing skills in producing Italian texts.
Syllabus
  • A theoretical introduction: the developments in oral as well as written Italian in the second half of the 20th century, taking into account the present state of affairs. Instructions relevant to the functional styles in standard Italian. Text types: Description, résumé, formal letter, CV, reflection, news report, presentation, critique. Grammar: sentence analysis.

Assessment methods
Once enrolled in the course, attendance is mandatory (min. 75%). Each student is to submit a total of 4 written assignments.
