Prerequisites
Knowledge of subjects and literature of PSA 019, PSA O36 - Psychology of development I, II is required. Active attendance on seminars and elabotration of final written paper in extend of 3 pages at least is required.

Course objectives
Aim of the I. part seminar program is to convey essence of basic problems of psychological examination to students, above all in conculting practice. Further on using kind of practical experiences to convey basic personal experince working with clients and their parents. Students will gain: - initial experience in working with clinical methods /observation, interview, anamnesis/, including personal reflection - orientation in content and pitfalls of psychological examination - information about possibilities of implemantation of plychological work /examination, therapeutic approaches/ for client, families and social institutions.
Syllabus
  • - Introduction into subject topics: specialities of the consulting practice, process of psychological examination, conclusions from the examinations and options of their implemantations. - Art of establishing contact wit the client and parents /particularity, difficulties, experience/. - Work with parents /variety of upbringig in the families, conveyance of the results and conclusions, options of terapeutic work/ - Potentiality of work inside educational system /teachers, pedagogical advisors and school psychologists........./.

Teaching methods
Tuitions tako place once a week during term. Active attendance of obligatory seminars is expected, realization of given home works and group discussion is expected.
Assessment methods
For successful pass of study subject final elaboration of written paper in extent of 3 pages minimum is necessary. This is to be done by elaboration on one of examined and discussed seminar subjects: - in theoretical direktion; for example theoretical elaboration on chosen clinical method, kinds of approches in family upbringing etc., and reference to literature - elaboration on practically used technique /for example observation etc./: description of situation, flow of situation, diagnostic hypothesis, personal reflection
