Course objectives
Introduce students into basic legal concepts selected branches of law, they can use in their practice after graduation social pedagogy at the Faculty of Arts Masaryk University in Brno.
Syllabus
  • Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University: Department of Educational Sciences Law for Andragogy Students - autumn 2010 Brief contents of the subject: 1. organizational matters, initial interpretation based on the fundamental concepts of the theory of law, law and its role in society, sources of law, legal relations, legal facts, subject of law, creation, application and interpretation of precepts of law 2. foundations of constitutional law focused on the Constitution of Czech Republic and the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms 3. basics of criminal substantive law (Law No. 40/2009 Coll.), adult criminal law, juvenile criminal law, children under fifteen years (the foundations of criminal responsibility, types of penalties, general guidelines for their administration, types of sentences and protective measures) 4. basics of criminal procedural law (Act No. 141/1961 Coll.) basic concepts, courts and persons involved in the management, process before the initiation of criminal prosecution, preliminary procedure, summary preliminary procedure, trial by court, execution procedure 5. foundations of civil law (civil relations, participants of civil relations,legal acts, limitation, real rights, obligations) 6. procedural civil law, organization of the judiciary, state council and legal service 7. foundations of family law and employment law 8. fundations of administrative law (public administration, administrative management, general and special part of administrative law) 9. foundations of European Community law - basic relations, relations of community law and national law.
