Course objectives
The course pretends to offer the students a survey of the main issues concerning the practical issues that every translator and interpretor have to face in their practice.
Syllabus
  • The course is divided into two independent blocks. 1. Practical aspects of the translation process. 2. Practical aspects of interpretation. Students will be acquinted with the main principles of the interpretation process.

Teaching methods
Practical course. Students will get knowledge of the main issues concerning the process of translation and interpretation.
Assessment methods
Class attendance is obligatory. Regular homework and preparation are recquired. Class participation and discussions are expected. Students will write weekly translations, and participate actively in the group and class discussions.
