Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with translation and interpreting practice in EU institutions.
Syllabus
  • 1) Preparatory phase - before departure a) translation practice b) interpreting practice 2) Internship at the EU institutions (Luxembourg, Brussels) 3) Final phase - evaluation after return
Teaching methods
Full-day seminars and workshops with experts in the preparatory week. Internship: Foreign intensive continuous internship at the EU institutions in Brussels / Luxembourg Final phase: evaluation of the internship after return.
Assessment methods
Mandatory attendance at full-time attendance and internship in EU institutions.
