Course objectives
Lector exercises are conceived as a systematic training in practical knowledge of language which is intended to create complex language pre-requisitions and speech skills necessary for a full-value communication in Russian on common topics of everyday life. Part of the exercises is an intensive training of grammatical forms according to parts of speech and their correct use in minimal as well as wider speech contexts.

  • Topics: 1. Culture. Movies. 2. Sport. 3. Russian cuisine. 4. Russia - countries of unlimited possibilities. 5. Nature of Russia.

Teaching methods
Class (four hours per week); within the class a combination of teacher-led activities and student-centered (both individual and group) learning activities will be employed. Seminar activities, drills, group activities. Regular active participation in seminars: tolerance 4 absences (80% attendance) per semester, students must separately complete lessons from missed lessons. Continuous fulfillment of assigned written or oral assignments.
