Course objectives
The main objective of the course is to give students a basic knowledge of research ethics, from the preparation of the project, compiling research data and data analysis to presentation of results.
Learning outcomes
In addition to the adoption of general ethical principles of research work, students acquire practical skills in creating projects for the ethics committee, informed consent creation and presentation of results, especially data from   clinical and qualitative studies and these findings will then be able to implement in practice.

  • Ethical codes - historical excursion Ethical metakodex of psychology Ethics in basic and applied psychological research Ethics of psychological research with human subjects (with animals) Basic ethical principles (beneficence, nonmaleficence, debriefing, principle of respect, principle of competence, principle of accountability, principle of integrity, principle of justice, etc.) Ethical rules protecting researchers Designing principles for ethics committees Ethics of obtaining informed consent Ethical aspects of research data processing Ethical aspects of presentation of research results and publishing activities

Assessment methods
Credit. Conditions for obtaining credit is 80% attendance at seminars and processing project proposal for the ethics committee, in the range of min. 3 pages.
