Course objectives
The state final bachelor's exam is intended to demonstrate the student's ability to discuss a given issue in a cultivated way, to react in a discussion, and to argue factually, to actively use knowledge of literature and other sources in professional controversy. The student's ability to formulate his / her opinion and to support his / her statement, to compose an overview and clearly structured interpretation of the assigned issues, to work critically with professional literature is also assessed.

  • Final State Examination The final state examination is an oral exam. French Literature, History and Culture. French Morphology and Syntax Lexicology and Lexicography. A further constituent part is the diploma thesis defence.

Teaching methods
Application of theoretical knowledge on authentic texts (recordings). During their presentations students show their ability to interconnect on their own their theoretical knowledge and practical analysis of a specific text.
