Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide motivated students with practical experience in the field of art history, culture, science and their communication to the general public. The teacher will provide feedback as part of gaining the first practical work experience in professional positions. It will also provide methodological support in linking practical problems / topics with theoretical knowledge. The internship will take place in museums, galleries, scientific institutions, publishing houses and the media.
Learning outcomes
By doing a traineeship abroad the students will: 1.) improve their language skills and their soft skills highly valued by future employers 2.) apply the theoretical knowledge acquired so far in the field of art history in practical situations in organizations 3.) identify and analyze practical problems of current practice in organizations, and critically reflect on them with regard to their theoretical explanation
