Course objectives (in Czech)
Cílem kursu je znesamozřejmit jazyk, problematizovat předmět i postupy jazykovědy. nost člověka.
Syllabus
  • 1) Where and how language exists. Language determination of man. 2) Written and spoken language as autonomous systemes. 3) National and/or group identification through language. Language planing. 4) Looking on language: rhetoric, speculative, biological, psychological, sociological and technical models. 5) Science as language, language as calculus. Formal languages and formalization of sciences: 6) Language as neighbour of both science and arts.

Assessment methods (in Czech)
Semestr končí kolokviem. Látka je pro studenty oboru obecná jazykověda předmětem postupové zkoušky po jarním semestru spolu s OJ107 Nástroje jazykovědy. Písemná část ověřuje základní znalosti, navazuje ústní pohovor.
