Methods and techniques of approach to texts and their interpretation; topics and areas of study; main handbooks, textbooks, dictionaries; auxiliary disciplines.

  • 9. Approach to the Latin literature 10. Latin medievistics 11. Electronic databases of texts and tools (dictionaries, concordances) for studying Greek and Latin ancient and medieval authors 12. How to write a student paper 13. The classical studies in the Czech Republic 14. History of the classical philology in Europe (and the USA) 15. History of the classical philology in the Czech Republic and Slovakia

Assessment methods (in Czech)
Přednáška. Semestrální zápočet. Kredity budou uděleny na základě vypracování nejméně 70% zadaných témat (viz elf) a ústního kolokvia o probraných tématech. Obsah předmětu je součástí požadavků k bakalářské zkoušce na oboru latina
