Course objectives
During the vacation after the 4th year of study the students will pass Field Practice VI, which takes place at arbitrarily chosen excavations carried out by the Archaeological Institute AS CR, Institute of Archaeological Care of Historical Monuments, museums or other archaeological institutions. In the real conditions of archaeological excavations the students will apply their hitherto knowledge, primarily from the sphere of field theory and practice, geodesy and expert knowledge of material culture. During the excavations they are supposed to actively and individually participate in preparation, documentation and exploitation of the archaeological find situations.
