Course objectives
Reading and interpretation attempt of selected texts from the analytical philosophy. Texts (preliminary selection): - Gottlob Frege: Kleine Schriften - Bertrand Russell: A Free Man's Worship - Bertrand Russell: On Denoting - Rudolf Carnap: Überwindung der Metaphysik durch logische Analyse der Sprache - Ludwig Wittgenstein: Über Gewißheit / On Certainty - Willard Van Orman Quine: From a Logical Point of View - Richard Rorty: Essays On Heidegger And Others Philosophical Papers - Donald Davidson: Truth and Predication Texts will be available in the e-learning system before the semester starts. The concrete content of the seminar will be determined in the first lesson. Suggestions and preferences of students can be considered.

Podmínkou ukončení je aktivní účast v semináři a v e-learningovém systému. Méně aktivní či neaktivní studenti mohou psát závěrečný test.
