Course objectives
This lecture gives an information 1. that formal syntactic rules must be investigated and described in close connection with semantic aspect of utterance (neither a formally correct but empty construction, nor an accumulation of lexems without formal correctness can be treated as a sentence); 2. about the relation of propositional centents of utterances to their communicative functions, i. e. various intentions of their relization, and to various forms of utterance. All Russian constructions are described in confrontation with Czech.
