Course objectives
The Origin of hermeneutics. Hermeneutics and mythical thought. Hérakleitos and presuppositions of the depth hermeneutics. Hermeneutical thought in Antiquity and Middle Ages.. German romantical hermeneutics. F. D. E. Schleiermacher. J. G. Droysen. W. Dilthey. Theories of hermeneutics by E. Husserl, M. Heidegger, H.-G. Gadamer. Hermeneutical aspects J. Habermas philosophy. P. Ricoeur and the hermeneutics of the symbol and metaphor. The depth hermeneutics: symbol, archetype and mythical thought. The Relation of the philosophical hermeneutics. Hermeneutics and literary theory.The Foundations of legal hermeneutics. Main objectives can be summarized as follows: to gain a certain overwiew of the history of philosophical hermeneutics and the basic knowledge of depth hermeneutics and mainly to give the presuppositions for the development of hermeneutical thought in all its aspects and dimensions, as well as the methodogy of humanities.
