Course objectives
The course is designed to provide an opportunity for students to get acquainted with several pre-selected facilities dealing with psychological care, their scope, organizational structure, the role of the psychologist in the strucure, etc. The goal is to enable students to acquire minimal practical experience relatied to the facilities of psychological care.

The selection of the actual facilities will be discussed with the students at the beginning of the course (1st or 2nd week of the semester). The students will receive an email specifying the time and place of the introductory session.

  • introductory session and selection of the facilities for the excursions
  • excursions to 6 chosen facilities of psychological care in Brno or neighbouring locations
  • final discussion and evaluation of the usefulness of the individual excursions

Excursions.
Assessment methods
During the semester, excursions to 6 pre-selected facilities of psychological care will be organised. The basic requirement for receiving a credit is participation on at least 5 of these, as well as the submission of a short report (1-2 pages) on each of the excursions.
