Course objectives
The main objective of the course can be summarised as follows: to explain and to practice basic morphological and syntactic phenomena of the normative grammar necessary for understanding Latin texts;
Syllabus
  • Morphology:
  • comparison of adjectives and adverbs;
  • perfect system of verbs;
  • demonstrative, relative and interrogative pronouns;
  • irregular verbs. Syntax: temporary indicative clauses;
  • relative clauses;
  • direct questions;
  • nominative with infinitive.

Teaching methods
Lectures, practice (translating). Regular class attendance and homework are required.
