Course objectives
The aim of the subject is teaching at a supervising department which leads to the professional growth of a PhD student as far as teaching methodology is concerned. PhD students usually teach optional subjects which are related to the topic of their dissertation work. An annotation, syllabus and further specifications of the subject have to be approved by the head of the department and the chairperson of the Departmental Committee; they are created after a consultation with the supervisor. PhD students continuously consult questions regarding lessons with their supervisors, lecturers of the subject and with the methodologist of the department. Final assessments are given by the teacher after a consultation with the supervisor.
Learning outcomes
After the completion of the course, the student shall be able:
- to prepare the content of the course (at the training workplace);
- to lead the chosen course independently;
- to chair a discussion;
- to provide a feedback to their students.
