Prerequisites
IJIA015 Practical Italian IV && NOW ( IJIA027a Bachelor's Thesis ) && NOW ( IJIA028 Bachelor's State Exam )
General prerequisites: - to have agreed the topic with the supervisor and submitted a basic bibliography before the beginning of the semester in which you enrol in Seminar I for the thesis; - strictly adhere to the indications on when and how to write and submit. For those who intend to write the thesis for their Bachelor's degree in Italian Linguistics, the following are required - the assiduous attendance of the compulsory courses of Italian Linguistics (I-IV) - attendance of at least one optional specialisation course (e.g. Syntax)

Course objectives
Students will be supervised in the various stages of planning, writing and revising the thesis.

Progressive development of the thesis.
Syllabus
  • Individual consultations, during which the supervisor checks the different segments of the work that the students progressively hand in, according to the collective and individual deadlines set. Students must hand over 10/15 pages every month so that the supervisor has the time to read and suggest amendments. The last chapter/portion of the thesis, no larger than 10/15 pages, must be handed over no later than two weeks before the deadline.
