Course objectives
The aim of this course is to familiarise students with morphosyntax (nouns and verbs) and the structure of sentences and utterances in Italian.
Learning outcomes
The student will learn: - to recognise verbal and nominal forms and understand their function in a sentence - to identify the argumental structure of the verbs - to recognise different types of sentences and their relationship in a text

Assessment methods
Written exam (open questions and exercises on the course's contents). Both the development of the course's contents and the acquisition of the Italian language, according to the level, will be evaluated. 80% attendance is required to take the written test; alternatively, the study of additional material to compensate for non-attendance must be agreed in advance.
