Origin and structure of ore deposits, fossil fuels and industrial minerals and rocks, properties of minerals and rocks, fundamentals of chemistry, geochemistry, biology and principles of sense of law.

Course objectives
1.Introduction: global relationship "raw materials and society", structure and trends in consumption of raw materials, institutions and their qualification, basic law documents. 2.Classification of geological activities from the risk point of view. 3.Principal risk factors for an environment using mining technologies. 4.Basic processing technologies and their risks. 5.Impact of mining in CR. 6.Geologic aspects of reclamation and renaturalization of mining sites.
