Course objectives
Examples to regeneration and reproduction of animals with intensive working with electronic data about newest achievements on field of stem cells and other braches of applied embryology. Ethical questions of applied science.
Syllabus
  • Embryology, pract. course 2 hours weekly. Regenerative abilities in animals. Reproduction: cell reproduction the basic for the growth and development of organisms. Asexual reproduction of Protozoa and Animalia. Sexual reproduction and differences, gametogenesis, fecondation and fertilisation. Alternating reproductive cycles. Ontogenesis - embryonic, postembryonic direct and indirect development in main animal phylla. Planned is the excurssion into a special embryology laboratory or laboratory of assisted reproduction.
