Examination - basic microbiology, physiology of bacteria, biochemistry, molecular biology.

Course objectives
Main topics of course can be summarized as follows: isolation and cultivation of microorganisms, maintenance of pure cultures; microscopic and macroscopic morphology of archaea and bacteria; phenotypic classification and identification of Gram negative bacteria; phenotypic classification and identification of Gram positive bacteria; typing and identification of bacteria by rep-PCR method; analysis of microorganisms by mass spectrometry MALDI TOF procedure ;
