Course objectives
Student will understand the terminology of Educational psychology, theory applied in school practice, main topics
Syllabus
  • Applied psychological disciplines in school practice Content of educational psychology The notion of educational psychology Learning processes in relation to developmental stages School age, adolescence - specifics of learning and teaching Cognitive and intellectual factors influencing school success Cognitive styles, learning styles Personality of learner as a factor of success Learning a behavioural disorders Extra - intellectual factors influencing school success Family context, co-operation with parents. Communication with parents Diagnostics of factors influencing school success, educational diagnostics Classroom management, rewards and punishment The stress in teachers work, teacher and health, teachers career.
