Course objectives
The lecture is based on the definition of landforms and from the explanation of the physical principles of geomorphological processes aims to their description and analysis. Genetic part is based upon the explanation of genesis of morphostructures and their modelation through exogenic processes. The time is a key factor influencing the effeciancy of exogenic processes; type of relief originates through time from an original morphostructure.
Syllabus
  • Introduction to the study of geomorphology. Object of study. History of geomorphology. Physical basis of the geomorphological processes. Systematic geomorphology. Morfography. Morfographic terminology as a terminological basis of geomorphology. Morphometry. Morphometrical analysis and synthesis. Morphogenesis. Struktural geomorphology. Basic types of morphostructures (horizontál, dipping, etc.), active and passive morphostructures. Dynamic geomorphology. Geomorphological impact of the water streams. Processes of slope modelation and slope development. Karst processes. Geomorphologic processes acting in arid climamorphological areas. Geomorphologic action of glaciers. Shore modelation. Relief of the sea bottom. Types of relief. Time as a development factor of the shapes of the earth surface. Morphostratigrafy and denudation chronology.

Zápočet: podmínkou je PREZENTACE REFERÁTU na zadané téma. 1. PÍSEMNÝ TEST: 4. dubna 2. PÍSEMNÝ TEST: 2. května ÚSTNÍ ZKOUŠKA (3 OTÁZKY) Bodový zisk alespoň 60 bodů; maximální bodový zisk 100 bodů. Hodnocení: 60 – 68 E 68,1 – 76 D 76,1 – 84 C 84,1 – 92 B 92,1 – 100 A ÚČAST NA CVIČENÍCH JE NEPOVINNÁ. NEOMLUVENÁ ABSENCE NA CVIČENÍ ZNAMENÁ ZTRÁTU 5 bodů ZE ZÁVĚREČNÉHO HODNOCENÍ!!! Referáty jsou bodově hodnoceny, ale hodnocení je pouze pro vaši informaci a nezapočítává se do závěrečného hodnocení. Bodový zisk závěrečného hodnocení si lze vylepšit účastí ve fotografické soutěži. Tři nejlepší fotografie budou odměněny následujícím bodovým ziskem: 1. místo: 12 bodů 2. místo: 8 bodů 3. místo: 4 body
