Course objectives

The main aim of the course is to demonstrate epidemiology of various parasitic agents including numerous case studies performing various types and models of parasite transmission.

Syllabus

• Epidemiological classification of parasitoses Types of parasite transmission Ecological and social factors of parasite transmission Case studies: Toxoplasma Entamoeba Crytosporidium Taenia Echinococcus Ascaris Toxocara Enterobius Trichuris Trichinella Schistosoma cerkariová dermatitis Ancylostoma Strongyloides Plasmodium Filaria Microsporidia Pneumocystis
