Course objectives
The main objectives of the course are the following:
Speaking on Earth Science topics;
Understanding and analyzing advanced texts on science; distinguishing facts from opinions;
Understanding lectures in fast English given by native speakers;
Giving main ideas, describing processes and systems;
Writing summaries and abstracts, CV and job application;
Explaining causes and effects; interpreting graphs;
Presenting field topics and research;
Consolidating terminology;
Using specific grammar features
