Course objectives
The main objectives of the course are: to introduce mathematical description of mappings (linear algebra);
to exercise calculations with goniometric functions;
to acquire basic skills in using differential calculus.
Syllabus
  • 1. Vectors, matrices, determinants.
  • 2. Vector and euclidian spaces.
  • 3. Functions and their basic properties.
  • 4. Elementary functions; in particular the goniometric ones.
  • 5. Sequences, limit.
  • 6. Basic concepts of differential calculus: continuity, limit, derrivative.
  • 7. Multiple variable functions, partial derrivatives, differential.
  • 8. Applications of derrivative.
