Course objectives
Absolving the course a student obtains following abilities and skills: Basic knowledge of the principle of function of rudimentary electronics components and semiconductor devices.
Ability to design and connect simple electronic circuit with semiconductor devices (diodes, transistors, operational amplifiers, etc.)
Syllabus
  • Diode and transistor characteristics; method of measurements.
  • Low frequency amplifiers, operational amplifiers- basics connection, application.
  • Analogue and digital information, AD and DA converter.
  • Sound and picture digital and analogy transmission and recording; sorts of modulation; radio transmitter and receiver; Citizens' Band radio, Sorts off amateur broadcasting.
  • Computers techniques in communication technology.
  • Household electronic instruments; measuring instruments.
