Course objectives
The course is focused on basic knowledge of proteins and membranes from a soft matter perspective. It covers an overview of coarse-grained models, their approximations and limits in computer simulations. At the end, the lectures will describe a few of the advanced methods of Monte Carlo simulations that are often used in this field.
