Course objectives
The main objective of the course is to teach students how to work with professional literature, to identify the problem and to prepare a scientific paper in the form of a proper scientific publication. Students work on the bachelor's thesis under the supervision of the member of academic staff of Section of Microbiology or other collaborating institutions.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to:;
- understand academic writing;
- work with scientific literature;
- be able to discuss the scientific topic;
- write a literary review of the chosen topic in the form of a bachelor's thesis;
- successfully defend the bachelor's thesis

  • Up-to-date microbiological or related scientific subjects are chosen for bachelor thesis.
