- Course objectives
- The aim of the field exercise is a practical verification of students' ability to use the presented mapping methods. The student should master the basic methods of topographic and thematic mapping. Ability to orientate oneself in the field and use background materials. The exercise consists of two relatively independent blocks, the first of which is topographic mapping and the second of thematic mapping.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of this fieldwork, students should be able to:
- perform simple surveying in field topographic and thematic mapping. - Syllabus
- 1. Distance and angle measurement 2. Measurement of levels 3. Processing of measured data 4. Thematic mapping 5. Production of topographic plan
