Prerequisites
Completion of the course C5965 Selected analytical methods in conservation-restoration chemistry.
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The main goal of the course is to practically familiarize students with instrumental analytical and structural techniques and methodologies that can be applied in the care and investigation of cultural heritage objects in the process of their conservation and restoration.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students will be able to evaluate the choice of an appropriate instrumental method, correctly collect and prepare samples, and perform basic practical tasks when working with modern instrumental analytical techniques. Students will orient themselves when interpreting the evaluated data. They will master the basic handling of modern instrumental analytical methods.
