IBM Internship Program 2013/2014
IBM Delivery Centre team in Brno makes it possible for you to take part in interesting
projects within The Internship Program. This program is available from October 2013 –
February/March 2014.
IBM Delivery Center Czech Republic Brno is one of the biggest and most diverse IBM
centers of its kind worldwide. Brno centre core activities focus on providing strategic
outsourcing services, remote server and application support, networking services and end
customer support.
Asset Project
You will lead the completion of the newly deployed seat & asset tool. The tool is used to track asset
deployments and allocations for the whole Delivery Centre Brno site. To fully deploy the new tool, the data
from some of it's modules need to be revalidated.
To complete the tool the following sub-projects must be completed:
- Revalidation of backup port activations
- Revalidation of seat allocations
- Design a solution to track seating costs by organization break-down structure
You will gain working experience in leading IT company and have the opportunity to practice and improve
project management and communication skills with many nationalities.
Description of roles:
Define project schedule for each sub-project and the project as a whole, present progress in status
meetings, communicate with production and finance teams/managers to gather data and project results.
Skills required:
Communicative English, MS Excel / OpenOffice,Communication skills, Project management skills, Time
management.
